Five sixths of the band gathered beneath a cherry tree and dappled September sun for a few tunes, one of which was this new addition to our repertoire. Written in the mid-19th century by Stephen Foster, it feels just as relevant today… (Thanks to Harriet Bleak for pressing the button)

Mr Foster will be proud. I enjoyed the tea box. Keep it rolling serenaders. (I revisited the Dead Skunk recalling I once saw an Elk play this. Astonishing.)
